The UB5-S GEL-NIMBUSâ„¢ 9 sneaker was created by the Kiko Kostadinov Studio. They were inspired to update the heritage trainer’s technical details with a series of archived trail shoe features.​ Elements from the GEL-TRAIL ATTACK shoe’s line detailing are met with lace-like mesh underlays on the upper. Meanwhile, the sneaker’s coloration references the look of galaxy matter that coincides with the design’s futuristic influences. ​
The segmented midsole’s GELâ„¢ technology inserts in the heel and forefoot are designed to increase shock absorption. This makes the shoe more adaptable in different surroundings.
